All electric powered aircraft capable of high speed, high altitude and long endurance
ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT
There are several proposed designs for an experimental electric powered aircraft from a conventional straight winged aircraft to along range, high speed and high altitude delta winged aircraft.
These aircraft are to be powered by a hybrid of batteries situated with in the wings and advanced electric generators called 'Generator Cells' located in the rear of the aircraft fuselage.
The electric power produced by the Generator Cells provides power to high speed digital permanent magnet electric motors. These motors drive fans at the front of the engines which produce the thrust needed to for the aircraft to fly.
As these electric powered aircraft do not need to breathe air to burn fuel they are capable of flying at high altitude where the lack of oxygen would cause conventional fuelled aircraft engines to stall. The electric motor engine fan simply takes in the incoming air and accelerates it out the back.
