Black Kestrel was founded by Jake Quinton, a pilot and electronics engineer with a lifelong fascination of electrical generation and its potential to revolutionize aviation. Driven by a vision to create cleaner, more sustainable flight, Jake saw the untapped potential of electric power. However traditional batteries simply couldn't store enough energy to make electric flight viable.
Undeterred by this challenge the only way forward was to develop an entirely new energy storage system capable of delivering the power needed for electric propulsion. For over a decade, Black Kestrel has been researching and refining an advanced energy storage solution. This has led to the development of the Generator Cell, which will push the boundaries of flight and shape the future of sustainable aviation.
At the heart of our electric aircraft is our self-developed Generator Cell technology, which with our advanced electric propulsion system will enable extended flight durations, greater altitudes, and unprecedented efficiency.
